## Company: QUALCOMM SEMICONDUCTORES Y SISTEMAS AVANZADOS DE BAJA CALIFORNIA ## Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Hardware Engineering General Summary: # The Product Development and Test Engineering group is responsible for Design validation, characterization, and production deployment of multiple leading-edge IPs for 5G products in the advanced FinFET semiconductor process technologies. # # If you have the following skills we'd love to consider you! # RF Product and Test Engineer The RF Product Development and Test Engineering group develops test solutions for design verification and characterization of highly integrated RF receiver/transmitter/transceiver ASICs and Front-End Modules designed by QCT. Potential responsibilities: * Experience in key RF measurements (i.e EVM, ACLR, Gain, NF, IP3, Phase Noise, etc.) * Understanding of basic RF test equipment (spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal source analyzer, signal generators, oscilloscopes, etc.). * Understanding of basic ATE test platforms (Advantest, Uflex, Cohu, etc.). * Experience with developing/modifying Visual Basic, C++, C#, Java, Python, LabVIEW and/or TestStand. * Knowledge in RF-PCB design basics. * Understands board design, debug, and development. # HSIO/DDR Bench Test Engineer Plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Potential responsibilities: * Applies Hardware knowledge to assist in the planning, optimization, verification, and testing of electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems. * Provides support for the integration of features and functionality into hardware designs in line with proposals or roadmaps. * Assists in conducting simulations and analyses of designs as well as with the implementation of designs with the best power, performance, and area. * Collaborates with team members to assist in the implementation of new requirements and incorporation of the latest test solutions in the production program to improve the yield, test time, and quality. # Silicon Test Engineering Operation of the ATE to validate and debug the new product functionality, test HW/SW development, characterize across corner conditions and releasing cost-effective production test solutions for mass manufacturing. Potential responsibilities: * Experience with circuit design (e.g., digital, analog, RF), hardware engineering and hardware design (schematic capture and circuit simulation) or related fields. * >1 year of experience in product development, test validation and high-volume production activities related to System on Chip (SOC) - Compute, Data Center, Mobile, Automotive, IoT areas. * VLSI technologies – Digital Design, CPU architecture and organization and Semiconductor process. * Domain knowledge in one or more of these areas is a plus: CPU, Logic Test (ATPG), Memory, (SRAM, DRAM interfaces), High Speed Serdes, Sensor validation and its corresponding test methodologies. * CMOS Analog, and Mixed-Signal circuits such as ADC, DAC, PLL, LDO, LNA, Mixers, Power Amplifiers, and their performance measurements. * Experience handling measurement test equipment (oscilloscope, signal generator, spectrum analyzer, time interval analyzer, logic analyzer, network analyzer, ATE, Rohde & Schwarz). * Experience with Python/C++/Java/Assembly/Embedded SW.
