Working closely with Information Systems, Security, Legal, Finance, and business leaders, you will drive informed purchasing decisions that align with organizational priorities and long-term technology strategy. You will oversee strategic sourcing, complex contract negotiations, vendor performance, and renewal management across software, SaaS, AI tools, cloud infrastructure, and other technology solutions. You will also establish scalable procurement processes, governance frameworks, and performance metrics to improve visibility, reduce risk, and maximize value. This leadership role offers the opportunity to influence cross-functional decision-making, champion automation and continuous improvement, and build a procurement function that supports sustainable business growth.

  • Develop and execute strategic technology procurement and vendor management initiatives that optimize spending, improve operational efficiency, and support organizational growth.
  • Lead strategic sourcing, vendor evaluations, and competitive selection processes across software, SaaS, artificial intelligence tools, cloud infrastructure, communications platforms, and technology-enabled services.
  • Direct complex contract negotiations, including enterprise agreements, multi-year contracts, usage-based pricing, renewals, and commercial terms, ensuring alignment with technical and business requirements.
  • Establish and maintain procurement policies, purchasing workflows, vendor onboarding standards, approval processes, and governance frameworks in collaboration with Information Systems, Security, Legal, and Finance.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership by evaluating vendor capabilities, pricing benchmarks, product suitability, implementation requirements, security considerations, and potential risks.
  • Oversee the complete contract lifecycle, including documentation, licensing requirements, service commitments, renewal planning, and proactive vendor engagement to maintain continuity and value.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to forecast technology needs, assess software utilization, identify redundant applications, consolidate vendors, and optimize the technology ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with Security and Legal teams to implement vendor risk management standards covering data protection, security assessments, single sign-on capabilities, integration compatibility, and compliance requirements.
  • Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of procurement, spend management, and contract lifecycle management platforms, leveraging automation and AI where appropriate.
  • Establish key performance indicators to measure vendor performance, procurement efficiency, technology utilization, and overall value realization.
  • Build strong relationships with strategic vendors and internal stakeholders, lead business reviews, monitor service-level agreements, and promote accountability for service quality and continuous improvement.
