Are you passionate about operating, improving, and ensuring the reliability of complex infrastructures and applications? At Westernacher Solutions, you will work on highly available and security-critical platforms supporting the justice system and public administration. You will be responsible for maintaining stable infrastructure and application environments, continuously enhancing their capabilities, and contributing to the automation of modern operations and deployment processes. You will work in an environment where security, performance, and reliability are top priorities.

• Platform Operations: Design, operate, and continuously improve infrastructure and application environments.
• Monitoring & Stability: Ensure reliable operations through monitoring, incident analysis, and sustainable problem resolution.
• 3rd-Level Support: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support demanding operational tasks.
• Security: Implement security measures and conduct load, performance, and failover testing.
• CI/CD: Build, optimize, and maintain modern CI/CD pipelines, for example using GitLab.
• Automation: Automate deployment and operational processes to improve quality and efficiency.
• Lifecycle Management: Further develop methods, processes, and tools across the entire software lifecycle.
• Agile Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams in agile, cross-functional environments.

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of hands-on experience in infrastructure and/or application operations.
• Good knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Elastic Stack, Icinga, or similar tools.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or comparable technologies.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including load balancing, routing, and firewall configuration.
• Experience operating applications in cloud and/or on-premises environments.
• Strong Linux administration skills, for example with Ubuntu or CentOS.
• Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is an advantage.
• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines and working with version control systems, ideally GitLab.
• Fluent German and good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
