The University of Miami Information Technology & Systems Department has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Epic Solutions Architect (Laboratory).

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science
• Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare IT, preferably in healthcare or healthcare-related organization
• Epic Beaker (CP) and Epic Beaker (AP) certifications
• Previous operational, project management, and organizational skills preferred
• Data Innovation preferred
• Familiarity with lab workflows, regulatory requirements, integration points with other Epic modules, and patient experiences preferred
• Experience in anatomical pathology and lab practices preferred
• Previous Epic Beaker, AP & CP implementation experience preferred
• Previous experience in implementing digital pathology technologies (IMS) preferred
• Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data. 

• Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems. 

• Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions. 

 Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
