We are looking for a Project Officer to conduct research on membrane and separation technology for desalination, resource recovery, and decarbonization.

Responsibilities

Conduct membrane related projects for desalination, decarbonization, resource recovery, etc.
→
Assist in the design, optimization, construction, commissioning and operation of membrane-based desalination and water reclamation pilot-scale and lab-scale systems.
→
Assist in conducting membrane and separation process modelling, module-scale desalination system modelling, including conventional modelling and machine learning based modelling.
→
Publish research data, prepare project progress reports.
→
Assist in the preparation of grant proposals.

Requirements

At least a Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.
Excellent report writing skill.
Excellent oral presentation skill, multitasking skill.
Relevant research experience on membrane technology and separation technologies.
Relevant research experience on electrochemical processes and/or electrode synthesis.
Relevant research experience in scaling up electrochemical water technology.
Self-motivated and able to work on your own and in a team.
Good interpersonal skills and communication skills.
Strong responsibility for research.
