Maintenance Technician

• →Performs non-licensed maintenance and preventative tasks, including minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, painting, and HVAC systems.
• →Manages inventory and upkeep of maintenance van and tools.
• →Assists with snow removal and seasonal maintenance as needed.
• →Paints and repairs interior wall finishes and minor flooring damage.
• →Completes requests for hauling furniture, files, and boxes; moving and setting up appliances; and preparing rooms for meetings.
• →Maintains building interior, equipment, fixtures, walls, ceilings, woodwork, and caulking.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous 1 year experience in a maintenance role a must!
• Technical school training or maintenance-related certifications a plus.

• Proficient in operating equipment such as snow blowers, lawn mowers, and hand tools.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, heating, and carpentry.
• Computer proficiency and ability to manage digital work orders.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Availability for on-call and weekend coverage.

Physical Demands:
This is a physically active role requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting items over 50 pounds.

Work Environment:
Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, mechanical parts, and loud noise levels is common in this role.
