Project Engineer Intern

• →Assist supervisor in the field or office to support project success
• →Material takeoffs from drawings, specifications and other contract documents
• →Assist in the preparation of RFIs, Submittals, close out and/or other documentation as required
• →Assist in schedule maintenance and performing updates as directed by others
• →Assist in the maintenance of basic project recordkeeping and correspondence functions including daily reports, photographs, and other communications.
• →Assist in generating change orders.
• →Assist in as-built drawing documentation.
• →Provide field support and assist with supervision of subcontractor operations
• →Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision
• →Participation in intern program specific trainings and events
• →Other duties as assigned

Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field

3 months related industry preferred but not required  

• Proficiency in Microsoft suite
• General familiarity with construction software (PROCORE and Bluebeam preferred)
• General familiarity with plan and specification reading
• Ability to assist with and perform necessary functions for more than one project
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Time management
• Organization

• Verifiable work references demonstrating exceptional accomplishments, leadership, and communication skills 
• Successful completion of post-offer background & drug screens

• All positions at GH Phipps are considered safety sensitive. Position may be required to visit a construction site at any time.
• In person, regular attendance required

This position pays $22.00/hour
