Maintenance Mechanic

• →Perform routine and preventive maintenance inspections on building systems including motors, fans, pumps, plumbing, HVAC components, and basic electrical systems.
• →Diagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs safely and efficiently in accordance with SOPs and safety standards.
• →Repair, replace, and adjust building fixtures such as doors, hardware, lighting, ceiling and floor tiles, and restroom components.
• →Maintain and service custodial and maintenance equipment, including lubrication, belt replacement, and minor mechanical repairs.
• →Respond to maintenance requests, emergencies, and after‑hours call‑backs as needed.
• →Prepare inspection reports, complete work orders, and document maintenance activities.
• →Maintain cleanliness of mechanical spaces and work areas, and assist with inventory tracking and supply ordering.

• 5–10 years of experience in commercial building Operations & Maintenance.
• Demonstrated hands‑on experience in multiple skilled trades, including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and responding to corrective maintenance issues.
• Strong attention to safety, regulatory compliance, and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-based, regulated environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime, respond to call‑backs, and provide coverage as operational needs require.

• Familiarity with work order systems and maintenance documentation.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems and building automation components.
• Experience maintaining custodial or floor care equipment.
• OSHA safety training or general safety compliance experience.
• Strong communication and time‑management skills.
• Ability to perform light painting, drywall repair, and minor cosmetic repairs.
