CAD Design Engineer

• →Create 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
• →Design sheet metal components including enclosures, brackets, panels, frames, and supports.
• →Design electrolyzer cell components, plates, manifolds, fixtures, and associated hardware.
• →Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings with appropriate dimensions, tolerances, materials, and fabrication notes.
• →Design components for laser cutting, sheet metal bending, machining, welding, and 3D printing.
• →Create and maintain mechanical BOMs.
• →Work closely with mechanical and other engineering teams during design and development.
• →Incorporate feedback from fabrication, assembly, and testing into mechanical designs.
• →Coordinate with fabrication and machining vendors to resolve design and manufacturing issues.
• →Maintain accurate CAD files, drawings, revisions, and engineering documentation.

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience using SolidWorks.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks part modelling, assemblies, sheet metal, and engineering drawings.
• Experience designing mechanical components and assemblies for industrial equipment or engineered products.
• Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication, machining, welding, fasteners, materials, and tolerances.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and P&IDs.
• Experience preparing manufacturing drawings and BOMs.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate closely with engineers and fabrication vendors.
• Experience with electrolyzers, fuel cells, batteries, process equipment, or other clean-energy hardware will be an advantage.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills will be an advantage.
• Experience preparing or updating assembly documentation, work instructions, or Design for Manufacturability (DFM) documentation will be considered an advantage.
