The Parts Driver will verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments. They will be required to deliver and pick up part orders as needed.

Responsibilities

→One year of experience in automotive parts department.

Valid New York State Driver License.

Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, use hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel, push, pull, reach, crouch, bend, kneel, climb, and perform repetitive motions of the hands and/or wrists.

Time-management and organizational abilities.
Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
Ability to use a multitude of hand tools.

Computer software: Microsoft Office to include Word, Outlook, Excel, and CDK.

Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 70 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Work is performed in company vehicle and other locations in the dealership.
Will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
Occasional weekend and evening hours are required.

Hazards: Slips, trips and falls, ergonomic injuries, and occasional lifting.
Safety Precautions: Breaks are encouraged to allow for stretching and training is provided covering slips, trips, and falls, safe lifting and stretching techniques.
