Senior Network and Security Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer to manage and maintain cloud networking, security controls, and connectivity across AWS environments. You will focus on network reliability, infrastructure security, and regulatory access controls while working with modern cloud networking and security technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and maintain AWS Cloud WAN, VPC architectures, VPN connectivity, and routing
• Administer AWS Network Firewall, WAF, Route 53, and load-balancing services
• Operate and maintain CloudFront and Lambda@Edge environments
• Implement and maintain geo-blocking and regulatory traffic control mechanisms
• Perform network monitoring, capacity planning, and security reviews
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure service reliability
• Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigations
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Ensure high availability, security, and resilience across production environments
• Verify geo-blocking controls and regional access restrictions to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to improve network reliability and security
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with AWS networking and Cloud WAN
• Strong understanding of BGP, VPN, DNS, and routing technologies
• Experience administering WAF, CDN, firewall, and load-balancing services
• Experience with AWS Network Firewall, Route 53, CloudFront, and Lambda@Edge
• Knowledge of VPC design, network connectivity, and routing across multi-account AWS environments
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Understanding of network security controls, geo-blocking, and regional access restrictions
• Experience supporting high-availability production environments
• Knowledge of network monitoring, capacity planning, and security assessment practices
• Experience with incident response and root-cause analysis
• Strong security awareness, risk management, and analytical thinking skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
