Awetomaton is seeking a Cloud/DevOps Engineer to help build and deploy cloud native applications for our customers at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. In this role, you will work on a fast-moving team that is building a large data processing application.

U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered
Minimum of five (5) years of professional Cloud/DevOps experience
Demonstrated experience working with AWS, GitLab, and Kubernetes
Experience with Git or another source control management system
Understanding of software development lifecycle principles and practices
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, cross-functional technical team

Experience developing software in Python
Previous experience supporting Department of Defense or other government customers in operational environments
Experience working with and deploying open-source observability tooling in a kubernetes environment
Experience with OpenShift Container Platform, Istio, and ArgoCD
