Our mission is to democratize finance for all. An estimated $124 trillion of assets will be inherited by younger generations in the next two decades. The largest transfer of wealth in human history. If you’re ready to be at the epicenter of this historic cultural and financial shift, keep reading.
We are building an elite team, applying frontier technologies to the world's biggest financial problems. We're looking for bold thinkers. Sharp problem-solvers. Builders who are wired to make an impact. Robinhood isn't a place for complacency, it's where ambitious people do the best work of their careers. We're a high-performing, fast-moving team with ethics at the center of everything we do. Expectations are high, and so are the rewards.
The Robinhood Advisor Products team is bringing Trade PMR, Robinhood's newly acquired registered investment advisor platform, into the Robinhood product suite. Our multiyear mission is to connect Robinhood's growing retail customers with Trade PMR's financial advisors, while bringing together two sets of technology and user experiences into one coherent product. You'll work alongside engineers, product managers, and partners in marketing and finance who care about getting this integration right for customers on both sides. We're energized by the scope of this work and the chance to shape how two strong businesses come together!
As a Staff Web Engineer on this team, you'll build and scale full-stack systems, spanning backend services and web applications that support Advisors and Investors. You'll take on system design work, reasoning through tradeoffs to produce architecture that holds up as the integration between Trade PMR and Robinhood grows, and you'll stay hands-on, writing code while also setting technical direction. You'll partner with product, marketing, and finance stakeholders to turn open-ended requirements into concrete technical plans, and you'll coach and review other engineers' work to raise the bar on quality and process across the team. You'll have an initial focus on integrating "growing good" retail customers with Trade PMR advisors.
At Robinhood, we believe in the power of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community. Our office experience is intentional, energizing, and designed to fully support high-performing teams.
