What You Will Be Doing: In this role, you will serve as the functional Quality Engineering lead, driving the adoption, enhancement, and scaling of Statistical Process Control (SPC) initiatives to drive process improvements and root cause investigations. You will work closely with production sites and Lines of Business to enable a shift from a reactive to a proactive approach during production.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Collaborating with production sites to identify processes where SPC can be effectively deployed.
Managing the administration and configuration of SPC software for inspection plans (characteristics, tolerance values), user/group access permissions, and automated data management.
Creating templates and custom reports, and integrating CAD models, ballooned drawings, response protocols, and notification rules.
Developing data visualizations and metrics to support production and root cause investigations.
Establishing an SPC framework that promotes knowledge sharing and continuity, and training.
Establishing a governance structure, and rigor to ensure consistency across sites.
Driving strategies, best practices, and standard methodologies to strengthen the Quality Management System (QMS) and mentor emerging engineering talent.
Why Join Us? The ideal candidate is a curious, self-starting professional with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement. You bring knowledge in Lean Six Sigma applications and quality tools to optimize processes, increase efficiency and reduce process variation. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape quality engineering practices across multiple production sites.
