Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team in Albania. In this position, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with technical specifications and local safety regulations. Whether executing complex engineering designs or performing hands-on electrical installations and maintenance, you will play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, system reliability, and standard safety compliance across our projects. Key Responsibilities System Installation & Wiring: Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, power distribution units, wiring, fixtures, control panels, and electrical apparatus in commercial, industrial, or residential facilities. Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and timely corrective repairs on electrical equipment and machinery to minimize operational downtime. Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Utilize specialized testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, insulation testers) to diagnose electrical faults, trace circuits, and resolve complex issues. Technical Compliance: Ensure all electrical engineering and installation tasks comply with industry standards, blueprints, single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematic drawings, and local Albanian safety codes. Project Support & Testing: Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and contractors during system commissioning, load testing, and final safety inspections. Safety & Documentation: Adhere strictly to Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) practices, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines. Maintain accurate records of maintenance logs and engineering reports. Requirements (Skills & Qualifications) Education: Diploma, Trade Certificate, or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a relevant technical discipline. Certifications: Licensed Electrician certification or relevant technical credential preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and circuit diagrams. Deep understanding of high/low voltage electrical systems, transformers, switchgears, and power generation/distribution. Hands-on experience with industrial wiring, conduit installation, and electrical testing equipment.
