Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives across all areas of the business
Develop long-term procurement strategies focused on cost optimization, supplier consolidation, and value creation
Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to resolve complex procurement challenges
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost, and business alignment
Drive innovation and continuous improvement within procurement practices

Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and control frameworks
Ensure compliance with approval workflows, budget controls, and regulatory standards
Monitor purchasing activity to maintain financial integrity and process consistency
Oversee purchase order (PO) generation through established systems and processes
Champion best practices in contract management, documentation, and audit readiness
Partner with Finance leadership to strengthen governance and mitigate risk

Negotiate contracts, renewals, and terms to reduce total cost of ownership
Develop supplier scorecards and conduct performance reviews aligned to KPIs
Manage supplier relationships and proactively address performance issues
Drive continuous improvement and strategic partnerships with key suppliers

Partner with departments across the organization to support procurement needs
Provide training and guidance on procurement policies and best practices
Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on procurement risks, opportunities, and cost savings
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers

Oversee spend analysis, reporting, and procurement KPIs
Utilize data to drive decision-making and improve procurement performance
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and controls
Implement and optimize ERP and e-procurement tools
Ensure data consistency across procurement systems

Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
Deep knowledge of procurement controls and contract management
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Ability to develop, implement, and enforce procurement policies and procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to challenge the status quo and drive process improvements
Confident decision-maker with the ability to influence and hold others accountable

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience
At least 2 years in a leadership or strategic procurement role
Experience with contract management, distribution, or regulated industries preferred
Strong background in risk management and internal controls
Experience working with ERP systems and procurement tools
