RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Customer service and communication: Helpful, patient, and approachable, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to understand employee and supplier concerns, explain next steps clearly and provide proactive updates and confidently engage with senior stakeholders while managing conversations with professionalism and tact.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving: Able to investigate across systems, evaluate available information, ask thoughtful questions, identify blockers and action owners, and independently resolve standard inquiries within established procedures.
• Case ownership and timely escalation: Own cases from intake through confirmed closure, including documentation and stakeholder follow-up. Make a reasonable effort to resolve issues, recognize when further investigation is unlikely to help, and escalate promptly with a clear summary of findings, actions attempted, and support needed.
• Prioritization and judgment: Manage competing inquiries based on urgency, business impact, and aging case. Work to response and resolution expectations, communicate delays, and recognize when approval or specialist support is required.
• Curiosity and continuous improvement: Show enthusiasm and initiative in identifying recurring issues, sharing observations, and recommending practical improvements to processes, SOPs, FAQs, self-service content, and automation.
• Relevant experience: At least 2 years of P2P operational experience in Procurement Operations, Accounts Payable, Supplier Administration, or financial shared services, with hands-on experience relevant to the workflows this role supports.
• P2P lifecycle knowledge: Working knowledge of supplier onboarding, purchase requests, approvals, POs and change orders, receiving, invoice exceptions, and payment processes. Understand functional responsibilities and escalation paths across the lifecycle.
