Welding Engineer - Ironwood Area

We partner with manufacturers across the Ironwood area seeking Welding Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

• →Support production with fixture and tooling improvements for welding.
• →Train welders on technique, safety, and procedure compliance.
• →Coordinate with quality and engineering on continuous improvement projects.
• →Develop and maintain welding procedures and work instructions.
• →Qualify welding processes and operators to code requirements.
• →Review drawings and specifications for weld symbols and joint design.
• →Troubleshoot weld defects and drive corrective actions on the floor.
• →Conduct weld inspections and maintain documentation records.

• Ability to read engineering drawings and weld symbols.
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in welding engineering, metallurgy, or related field.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes.
• Familiarity with AWS or ASME welding codes and standards.

• Familiarity with nondestructive testing methods.
• Certified Welding Inspector credential.
• Robotic or automated welding experience.
• Knowledge of weld metallurgy and heat treatment.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methods.
