OperationsProject Manager

At the heart of what we are, we are a small company that specializes in manufacturing personal care products. While we are much bigger now than what we were 20 years ago or even 5 years ago, our company was built on a belief that being small meant that we had to be faster than our competition, smarter, braver and of course, nicer. We knew that in order to make it, we had to produce products that our customers needed, in time, priced right, and with the highest quality. We knew innovation meant pushing the envelope on design and thinking. Most importantly, we knew that developing relationships meant building a reputation for coming through on promises and standing behind our product. That is who we are today and how we operate every day.

  • The Project Manager works collaboratively with external customers and internal departments to ensure the successful production of personal care products across multiple categories including cosmetics, skincare, haircare, and fragrance. The position drives cross-functional collaboration with teams including Production, Engineering, R&I, Quality, Supply Chain, and Commercialization to ensure the customer’s requirements are anticipated and delivered. This requires in-depth understanding of the different functional groups and how they interact.
  • The position is also a vital point-of-contact for key customer accounts. BMSC supports the growth and development of global beauty brands through the innovation of new product and the support of replenishment production. This position acts as a liaison between Marketing and BMSC’s R&I team for new formulations. They work with the customer’s replenishment teams to ensure KPIs are being tracked, communicated, and developed. The role may also manage a team of direct reports to support these goals.
