Kleinfelder's Irving (DFW) TX office is looking for a CoMET Laboratory Geotechnical Technician Professional to join our team.

We are looking for someone experienced in:

Performing daily routine testing of construction materials and geotechnical samples
Performing concrete cylinder compression testing
Following proper procedures and standards
Performing accurate computations
Performing accurate report preparation
Maintaining cordial relationships with peers, supervisors, clients, subcontractors and/or regulators.
Providing a positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks
Demonstrating the ability to work independently or with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Power Point preferred

The Laboratory Technician Professional will prepare daily reports and data sheets and may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor.

The preferred candidate will have 0-3 years of construction materials laboratory testing experience.

The ideal candidate will also have:

BS in Civil Engineering, Geology, Earth Sciences, or Geosciences is required.
EIT is preferred (or the ability to obtain within 6 months)

Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.
