The role sits within Technology, in the team responsible for the quality and reliability of Marex’s payments and FX platforms in Asia Pacific. The team combines manual/functional testing with test automation, increasingly leveraging AI-assisted tools and agentic automation, and works closely with engineering, operations and business teams so that payment flows, SWIFT/ISO 20022 messaging and FX workflows are delivered to a high standard.

Requirements

3–5 years of QA/testing experience across manual and automated testing.
Strong payments domain experience, particularly cross-border/international and FX payments, with hands-on knowledge of the end-to-end payment lifecycle, SWIFT MT/MX and ISO 20022 messaging.
Strong REST API testing, SQL and backend validation skills.
Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber or equivalent.
Exposure to AI-assisted testing, AI coding assistants or agent-based automation tools for test generation, execution, maintenance or failure analysis.
Programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript.
Experience with AWS and CI/CD, including CodePipeline, CodeBuild, S3 and CloudWatch.
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar test/defect management tools.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
