General Laborer - Food Production - Home Style Foods

Join our food production team and help prepare vegetables and other ingredients used to make our food products. This job involves cutting ingredients, operating equipment, moving materials, and cleaning the production area. Applicants must be able to reliably report to work at the early start time.

• →Wash, clean, cut, and weigh vegetables and other ingredients
• →Operate cutting equipment, grinders, and other production machines
• →Supply ingredients to the mixers and other production areas
• →Move tubs, boxes, pans, and carts
• →Wash and sanitize equipment and work areas
• →Follow food safety, cleaning, and safety rules
• →Help with other production tasks as needed

• Full-time position Monday-Friday
• 5:00 AM start time
• Typically, 8 hours per shift
• Work in temperatures of 50°F or below
• Stand and move throughout the shift
• Lift and/or push up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Bend, twist, and reach throughout the day
• Wear required protective equipment, including hairnets, gloves, lab coats, and safety glasses

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Dependable and on time
• Able to handle physical work in a cold environment
• Willing to learn and follow safety and food handling procedures
• Food production experience is preferred but not required
