HVAC Commissioning Engineer (Poland / EMEA Wide Travel)

Location: Poland based, travelling role. You'll be based from home in Poland for approximately 1 week in every 4, handling admin, planning, and reporting. The remaining 3 weeks will be spent at customer sites across EMEA, working on large scale data centre builds. International travel will be a core part of this role.

Working Hours: Full time, with flexibility required around project schedules and commissioning deadlines.

Who Are We?

At Vertiv, we're on a mission to power the people and technologies that keep the world connected. From data centres and telecommunications networks to industrial facilities, our solutions ensure that critical infrastructure is always up and running.

With operations in nearly 70 countries and revenues exceeding $6.9 billion USD, Vertiv combines the strength of a global organisation with the pace and innovation of a fast growing technology leader.

Want to Work on Some of the Biggest Data Centre Projects in EMEA?

We're looking for a skilled HVAC Commissioning Engineer to join our engineering team, working across large scale data centre builds throughout EMEA. This is a hands on, travelling role where you'll be responsible for the commissioning and testing of HVAC systems, making sure everything meets the required specifications and operates efficiently. If you want to be out on site, working with cutting edge cooling technology on some of the most exciting infrastructure projects in Europe, this could be the role for you.

You'll be part of an international team delivering critical cooling solutions, with real opportunities to develop your career and grow within a global business.

What Will You Be Working On?

Your day to day work will involve conducting commissioning activities for HVAC systems, including inspections, functional tests, and performance evaluations across major data centre projects. You'll develop and implement commissioning plans and procedures, working closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery. Troubleshooting and resolving HVAC system issues during the commissioning phase will be a key part of the role, along with ensuring all work complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

You'll prepare detailed reports documenting test results, commissioning activities, and any issues encountered. You'll also provide training and support to client personnel on the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, and maintain up to date knowledge of industry standards, technologies, and best practices. This is a physical, hands on role that will see you working across different environments and adapting to changing conditions on site.

What Are We Looking For?
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
  • F Gas certification, or a willingness to obtain it as soon as you join
  • Proficiency in using testing and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a bonus)
  • Willingness to travel extensively across EMEA, with a working pattern of approximately 3 weeks at customer sites and 1 week at your home location
  • Experience from data centres or other critical environments is a strong advantage but not essential
What's In It For You?
  • Competitive salary and benefits package in line with local market standards
  • Travel time and overtime compensation
  • All travel expenses covered
  • Good pension and insurance provisions
  • Real opportunities for career development and professional growth within a global company
  • Training and development, including support with F Gas certification if needed
  • Travel opportunities across EMEA, working on some of the largest data centre projects in the region
  • Local benefits in line with your country of employment
