We are seeking an experienced Regional Health & Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across multiple asphalt manufacturing facilities and related operations. This role partners with plant leadership to promote a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, reduce risk, and support operational excellence.

Job Duties:

• Provide safety leadership and support to multiple asphalt plants within the assigned region.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulations.
• Lead incident investigations and implement effective corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and supervisors.
• Monitor safety metrics, analyze trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support contractor safety management and emergency response preparedness.
• Partner with operations leadership to strengthen accountability and safety performance.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of safety experience in manufacturing, construction materials, heavy industry, or a related environment.
• Multi-site safety management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, incident investigation, and risk management.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, CHST, or OHST are preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout the region.
• Able to meet physical requirements of the role including standing or walking for long periods, lift 50 pounds with assistance, and perform jobs that involve lifting, bending, and climbing ladders, tanks and other outdoor structures
