Enterprise Architect

As Enterprise Architect, you’ll shape RACQ’s enterprise architecture direction by developing target-state architectures, strategic technology roadmaps and providing support and guidance to solution architects relevant to your domain. You’ll provide enterprise-wide architectural guidance to guide technology decision making that reduces complexity, strengthens capability and supports RACQ’s transformation priorities.

About the role  
This role will primarily focus on the business domains of mobility (roadside assistance and automotive services), home and energy, and corporate functions.  You’ll work with leaders and Technology teams to translate organisational strategy into clear architectural direction. Through trusted advice, governance and assurance, you’ll ensure technology investments are secure, scalable and aligned with RACQ’s long-term objectives.  In this role, you will:

• Develop enterprise architecture strategies, capability models and target-state roadmaps.  
• Establish architecture principles, standards and governance practices.  
• Lead architecture reviews and provide assurance for complex initiatives.  
• Define future-state business, information, application, integration and technology architectures.  
• Identify opportunities to simplify the technology landscape and support modernisation.  
• Mentor others and strengthen architecture capability through guidance and knowledge sharing.

About you   
You’re a strategic and collaborative architecture professional who can turn complex business and technology challenges into clear, practical direction. You build trusted relationships, think beyond immediate delivery needs and influence decisions through expertise, sound judgement and a strong enterprise-wide perspective.

• Strong expertise in enterprise architecture and strategic technology planning.  
• Knowledge of TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks and practices.  
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into practical architecture direction and investment recommendations. 
• Broad architecture experience across enterprise-wide business and technology environments. 
• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies, business value and implementation risks.  
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
