We are looking for a skilled Microsoft 365 Security Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise security, compliance, identity, and governance solutions. In this hands-on consulting role, you will help organizations strengthen their Microsoft 365 environments using advanced technologies such as Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender. You will also contribute to emerging AI security initiatives, including governance and protection capabilities for Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI agents. Working directly with client security, compliance, and IT teams, you will translate complex business and regulatory requirements into practical technical solutions. You will collaborate with architects, consultants, and technical stakeholders across multiple client engagements. This fully remote opportunity offers exposure to modern Microsoft security technologies, complex enterprise environments, and continuous professional development.

  • Design, configure, implement, and optimize Microsoft Purview security, compliance, data governance, and information protection solutions.
  • Configure and manage Purview capabilities, including sensitivity labels, Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), retention policies, eDiscovery, and related compliance controls.
  • Implement security and governance solutions for Microsoft 365 Copilot and enterprise AI agents using Agent 365 and other relevant Microsoft security technologies.
  • Design and deploy identity and access management controls through Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), identity governance, and privileged access management.
  • Assess existing Microsoft 365 environments, identify security and compliance vulnerabilities or gaps, and develop actionable remediation strategies.
  • Configure, integrate, and optimize Microsoft Defender and other Microsoft 365 security capabilities across identity, applications, endpoints, and cloud services.
  • Work directly with client security, compliance, identity, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical implementations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, governance frameworks, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
  • Facilitate client workshops, technical discovery sessions, solution design activities, implementation, testing, and knowledge transfer.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to clients, ensuring security solutions align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage project deliverables, technical work items, documentation, and progress reporting while meeting established quality, productivity, and utilization expectations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and stay informed about emerging Microsoft security technologies, enterprise AI governance, and Zero Trust practices.
