Responsibilities

Prospect, identify, and convert new commercial opportunities across assigned territories.

Represent and promote technical product offerings to key specifiers: mechanical engineers, foodservice consultants, HVAC contractors, and private chain accounts.

Lead, support, and grow the network of independent manufacturer reps covering Canadian provinces.

Prepare and deliver technical presentations and lunch-and-learns to small groups of specialists and specifiers.
→
Select, coordinate, and attend targeted trade shows and industry events across Canada and the United States.
→
Actively contribute to marketing strategy and brand positioning.

Prepare proposals and maintain technical bids/quotes.
Ensure rigorous follow-up on bids via the internal automated system, driving pipeline opportunities through to closed orders.
Maintain accurate customer and pipeline data within the ERP system (Epicor).
Prepare and validate commission/rebate calculations for territory representatives.
Collaborate closely with estimating, project management, and technical support teams to ensure seamless customer service.
