The Partner Program Lead will build and scale a high-impact partner channel, transforming an established referral program into a significant and sustainable revenue driver. The role focuses primarily on recruiting, closing, and growing agency partnerships, particularly with agencies managing newsletters, email marketing, and podcasts for multiple clients. You will own the partner journey end to end, from defining the ideal partner profile and developing acquisition campaigns to designing incentives, enabling partners, and driving measurable results. Working closely with growth, sales, lifecycle, product marketing, and finance teams, you will operate as a hands-on program owner with significant autonomy. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity for someone who enjoys building processes from the ground up, testing new strategies, and turning partner relationships into scalable business growth.
-
Define and validate the ideal agency partner profile, identifying high-potential segments such as newsletter studios, ghostwriting agencies, email marketing firms, and media consultancies.
-
Develop partner acquisition strategies, messaging, marketing assets, and campaigns to attract, engage, and recruit qualified agencies.
-
Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close new agency partnerships, helping partners generate their first referred customers quickly.
-
Build tailored engagement strategies for high-value agencies while developing scalable resources and experiences for the broader partner network.
-
Design compelling partner offers, including migration support, client discounts, co-branded landing pages, white-label materials, and commercial incentives.
-
Manage strategic agency relationships through regular check-ins, quarterly business reviews, joint pipeline reviews, and collaboration with enterprise sales on major opportunities.
-
Own partner program positioning, landing pages, recruitment campaigns, and visibility across relevant agency communities, events, podcasts, and partner channels.
-
Create partner enablement materials, including playbooks, training sessions, case studies, and regular program updates.
-
Lead partner onboarding and activation, improving conversion speed and re-engaging partners whose activity has declined.
-
Coordinate with Support, Growth Engineering, and Finance to resolve complex tracking, attribution, payout, and contractual issues.
-
Maintain the affiliate and creator referral program through automated processes, tier structures, bonuses, attribution rules, payout accuracy, and compliance with program terms.
-
Track and report on partner-sourced and partner-influenced monthly recurring revenue (MRR), conversion timelines, activation rates, 90-day retention, and cohort lifetime value.
-
Use performance data to refine partner incentives, program tiers, acquisition priorities, and resource allocation.
-
Establish a repeatable agency partnership model that generates consistent customer referrals and contributes meaningfully to revenue growth.
