Now Brewing - senior manager, International Brand, Strategy & Business Operations! #ToBeAPartner
From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.
As senior manager, International Brand, Strategy & Business Operations, you will connect global and regional teams to advance Starbucks brand priorities. Through business planning, strategic communications, and cross-functional leadership, you will strengthen alignment and turn strategy into coordinated action across markets.
As a senior manager, International Brand, Strategy & Business Operations, you will...
* Global Brand Rhythm & Process: Define, manage, and strengthen the International Brand rhythm of business, including integrated planning, prioritization, governance, decision-making, and follow-through across global and regional teams. Use AI (artificial intelligence) and digital tools to simplify and automate recurring workflows, improving efficiency, consistency, and access to information.
* Knowledge Sharing & Planning Forums: Design and lead global knowledge-sharing rhythms, including in-person and virtual forums that surface market insights and accelerate adoption of shared learnings. Consolidate regional and global calendars to enable coordinated planning across geographies.
* Leadership Alignment & Communications: Build and manage a proactive rhythm of vp (vice president) and above alignment and communications, ensuring leaders have the context, decisions, and materials needed to advance priorities across the International and Global Brand organizations.
* Strategic Communications: Serve as the communications connection between International Brand, regional teams, and the broader Global Brand organization. Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with Starbucks brand and business priorities, creating compelling narratives and executive communications that drive understanding and action.
* Strategic Project Leadership: Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional experts to define and drive high-priority initiatives across functions and geographies. Lead strategic framing, planning, and problem-solving, developing clear narratives, business cases, recommendations, and roadmaps that align stakeholders and translate strategy into action.
We'd love to hear from people with:
* 6–8+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, brand, business operations, or a related field, ideally within consumer retail or CPG, or another global multi-market environment
* Ability to build trusted relationships across levels, influence cross-functional partners in matrixed organizations, and bring clarity to ambiguous challenges to support decision-making
* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to balance strategic priorities and manage multiple workstreams, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously
* Strong written and verbal storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex information and insights into clear, compelling communications for executive audiences
* Strong data fluency and an insights-driven approach, with the ability to mine and interpret data, connect insights across sources, and translate findings into clear, actionable strategic recommendations
* Curiosity, flexibility, and a bias toward action in a lean team with a broad remit
* Experience working with international teams or in global-to-regional roles is a plus
* An AI-forward mindset with concrete proof points of using tools such as Microsoft Copilot to automate workflows, synthesize information, and improve team efficiency, demonstrating measurable outcomes such as time saved, reduced manual effort, or faster access to insights being a plus
* MBA or equivalent experience preferred

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
