Senior Technician, Innovation Equipment

Role and Responsibilities

• Operating test equipment like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and multimeters to diagnose and repair issues with electronics assemblies.

• Operation of a Flying Probe to include testing and test sequence programming.

• Apply electronic theory of operation principles and troubleshooting best practices.

• Create, update, and implement formal troubleshooting procedures.

• Perform micro-soldering and SMT precision repair.

Skills and Qualifications

• HS Diploma with a minimum of 15 years experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and symbols.
• Proficiency in through-hole, SMT, and micro-soldering.
• Strong understanding of electronic components and circuit operation.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and create repair procedures.
• Experience with Digital Multimeter functions and applications.
• Strict adherence to all safety standards and PPE requirements.

The current base salary range for this role is between $31.00 - $46.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.

This position may include access to controlled information or technology under U.S. export control laws.
