OperationsProject Manager

The Senior Project Manager, Scrum Master will lead the successful delivery of enterprise data platform, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives within a dynamic technology environment. In this role, you will combine strategic project management with hands-on Agile leadership, guiding cross-functional teams through the entire project lifecycle, from initial discovery and planning to deployment and operational handover. You will work closely with data engineers, architects, analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure priorities are aligned and delivery remains on track. Your responsibilities will include facilitating Agile ceremonies, managing dependencies, removing obstacles, and maintaining transparency across multiple concurrent initiatives. You will also oversee project governance, testing, release readiness, and stakeholder communication while promoting continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technology delivery professional who can translate complex technical requirements into structured execution and measurable business outcomes.

  • End-to-End Project and Program Management: Lead the delivery of enterprise data platform, integration, analytics, and reporting initiatives from initial intake and discovery through requirements definition, design, development, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, production deployment, and operational transition.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery timelines, milestones, resources, scope, and business objectives remain aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including integrated project plans, roadmaps, milestone trackers, RAID logs, RACI matrices, stakeholder registers, decision logs, status reports, test plans, deployment checklists, and lessons learned.
  • Agile Leadership and Scrum Facilitation: Serve as the Scrum Master and Agile delivery lead for data platform teams, promoting effective Agile practices and continuously improving delivery quality, velocity, and predictability.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, technical design reviews, sprint demonstrations, retrospectives, and release-readiness meetings.
  • Partner with product owners and business stakeholders to define priorities, clarify requirements, establish acceptance criteria, sequence dependencies, and maintain a structured and actionable backlog.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and technical leads to estimate user stories, assess sprint capacity, monitor progress, identify blockers, and ensure commitments reflect available resources.
  • Proactively remove impediments, resolve delivery challenges, and encourage accountability and collaboration across technical teams.
  • Data Platform and Technical Delivery Coordination: Coordinate the delivery of cloud-based data platform capabilities, including data ingestion, API and file-based integrations, ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformations, master data management, data quality, governance, semantic models, and Power BI reporting.
  • Work closely with data engineering, application development, enterprise architecture, security, infrastructure, business intelligence, and vendor teams to manage technical dependencies and ensure coordinated execution.
  • Maintain sufficient technical understanding of data pipelines, integrations, databases, cloud platforms, and system dependencies to identify delivery risks and support informed decision-making.
  • Quality Assurance and Release Management: Coordinate structured QA and user acceptance testing activities, including test planning, business tester readiness, defect tracking, evidence collection, issue resolution, and stakeholder sign-off.
  • Ensure production releases comply with established change-management and deployment-governance requirements, including approvals, documentation, testing evidence, communications, and transition-to-support procedures.
  • Coordinate release readiness across technical teams and business stakeholders to minimize operational risks and ensure successful deployment.
  • Risk Management and Stakeholder Communication: Identify project risks, resource constraints, scope changes, technical dependencies, and critical decisions early, driving resolution and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Provide clear, concise, and audience-appropriate progress updates to project teams, business stakeholders, technology leadership, and executive sponsors.
  • Promote consistent use of Jira and Confluence for backlog management, user stories, acceptance criteria, sprint tracking, project decisions, documentation, and delivery transparency.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management and data-delivery practices, balancing governance and accountability with practical, outcome-focused execution.
