As a Talent Transformation Program Manager, you'll be the single point of accountability for enablement inside a small number of strategic enterprise customers that have made a significant investment in Databricks training.
Think of the role as the training equivalent of an account executive. Once a customer invests in training, you make sure they use what they bought, see the value, and come back for more. You'll own each customer's enablement program end to end: the learning plan, the operating cadence, use of their training investment, the insights gathered along the way, and the next training opportunity.
You'll work alongside the Databricks account team (account executives, solutions architects and professional services) and coordinate our instructors, curriculum, certification and training operations teams to deliver.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Run the operating cadence with the customer and the account team: weekly check-ins, monthly reviews and quarterly business reviews
- Identify and build a relationship with an executive training sponsor at the customer early in the engagement
- Share clear, regular status updates covering progress, what's next, and any risks, each with a recommended solution
- Turn each customer's training investment into a structured, time-bound learning plan by role and skill level, tied to the customer's business priorities and use cases
- Track what's been purchased, used and scheduled, and make sure training is used on time rather than left to expire
- Secure delivery capacity (instructors, dates, lab environments, travel) ahead of time against the plan
- Run discovery deep enough to understand what the customer's teams are building, which tools they use, and where their skill gaps are
- Produce hand-off summaries that a solutions architect or instructor can act on without another meeting
- Make sure the account team receives a summary after every training session covering attendance, use cases, blockers, new teams and suggested next steps
- Share important signals with the account team quickly, along with a recommended next step
- Work with the account team to map the customer's use cases and proactively recommend where training would speed adoption or reduce support issues
- Identify and drive training expansion and renewal opportunities through to close, backed by a clear training proposal
- Get involved before new training agreements are signed to confirm scope, formats, lab needs, travel and success measures, so there are no surprises later
- Use AI and automation to improve how we plan, deliver and report on training
- Bring customer feedback to our curriculum, product, delivery and operations teams to improve the enablement experience
- A Customer Enablement Architect leads the commercial strategy and the initial training agreement for each customer.
- Once the customer commits to a significant training investment, you take ownership of the program: delivery, utilization, expansion and renewal.
- You'll keep the wider team informed with regular updates while running your customers' programs independently.
- Learner growth: more people at each customer actively building skills on Databricks
- Utilization: purchased training used on schedule and in full by the end of the term
- Training coverage: customers reaching target levels of trained and certified users
- Growth: training expansion and renewal opportunities you identify and help close
- Customer value: customer satisfaction and measurable outcomes tied to the customer's goals
In your first 90 days, you'll have a regular cadence running with each customer, training usage on plan, measurable learner growth, and at least one new training opportunity identified with the account team.

- Strong commercial instincts: able to spot opportunities and take them to close with an account team
- Technical enough to run credible discovery on a modern data and AI platform (data engineering, SQL and BI, streaming, data governance, machine learning and generative AI). You're not expected to deliver hands-on training.
- Executive presence with customer learning leaders and business sponsors; comfortable leading kickoffs and business reviews
- Data-driven: you report with numbers (learners, utilization, enrollments, satisfaction, pipeline), not anecdotes
- Fast, clear communicator: same-day follow-ups, no surprises, and a solution with every problem
