CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Project Team Leader to join our Electric Distribution Team in Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, or remotely. This opportunity provides the chance to grow your leadership experience, guide project teams, and play a key role in delivering successful electric distribution projects.

• →Lead and inspire a team of electric distribution professionals, keeping a pulse on team morale and engagement and fostering engagement, collaboration, and technical excellence
• →Oversee staffing levels, resource allocation, and operational activities to support the successful delivery of electric distribution projects
• →Mentor and develop technical staff and managers, promoting high‑quality work that meets safety, schedule, and budget expectations
• →Directly manage electric distribution projects of varying size and complexity—from planning and proposals through execution and closeout
• →Monitor project financial performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and support business practice goals
• →Maintain clear, consistent communication with leadership and project teams, sharing performance updates, milestones, and successes
• →Champion quality control, risk management, and project audits to ensure reliable, compliant, and resilient electric distribution solutions

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
• Minimum 10 years of combined project management and technical leadership experience required
• Strong background in business development and client relationships
• Proven success as a leader—strategic, technically astute, and client-focused
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; persuasive and articulate in all settings
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and build relationships across the company
• Strong experience with project budgeting and financial oversight
• Professional technical licensure required or equivalent professional experience
