We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Back End Engineer to design, develop, and enhance reliable, scalable software solutions in a cloud-based environment. In this role, you will contribute to the evolution of core services supporting customer intake, application screening, and information delivery. You will work on distributed systems and microservice architectures, improving performance, reliability, and overall system efficiency. • Enhance major read and write paths supporting customer intake, application screening, and information dissemination.

  • Identify system bottlenecks, architectural weaknesses, and business logic issues, then develop effective solutions.

  • Take ownership of product and engineering challenges, from problem identification through implementation, documentation, and performance measurement.

  • Build and improve components of distributed, multi-tier systems, including storage, caching, and application layers.

  • Contribute to microservice-based architectures and high-throughput systems.

  • Participate in system design and architectural discussions, communicating technical decisions and trade-offs clearly.

  • Support system modernization and transformation initiatives.

  • Work across the technology stack to resolve problems independently and deliver complete solutions.
