Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role requires managing application features, overseeing release processes, and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. The engineer collaborates with various stakeholders to align solutions with organizational goals, utilizing standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms. Attention to maintaining compatibility and seamless integration across systems is a key aspect of daily activities, ensuring that the applications continue to deliver value efficiently and reliably.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to optimize application configurations to enhance system performance and user experience.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support continuous learning and development.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of application capabilities with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BTP Datasphere.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based application architecture and integration techniques.
- Experience with APIs and low-code/no-code platforms to customize and extend application functionality.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues to maintain application stability.
- Familiarity with release management processes and version control in packaged application environments.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP BTP Datasphere.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
