The Master Scheduler plays a critical role in ensuring customer commitments are met while optimizing inventory, capacity, and manufacturing performance.

As a Master Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining production plans that align customer demand with manufacturing capabilities and supply chain constraints. You will collaborate across functions to drive operational execution, improve schedule performance, and support business growth.

As the Master Scheduler, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading production scheduling and backlog reviews to ensure on-time delivery and revenue commitments are achieved.
  • Analyzing demand, inventory, capacity, and material constraints to develop executable production plans.
  • Managing order prioritization, pull-ins, pushouts, and recovery plans to support critical customer commitments.
  • Monitoring schedule attainment, capacity utilization, work-in-process (WIP), and production performance while driving corrective actions as needed.
  • Partnering with Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Customer Service teams to mitigate shortages and resolve supply chain risks.
  • Validating MRP recommendations and maintaining planning parameters including lead times, safety stock levels, and work center capacities.
  • Supporting Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities through demand analysis, capacity planning, and production forecasting.
  • Developing reports and dashboards to track backlog, on-time delivery, inventory health, and manufacturing performance metrics.
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing throughput, reducing lead times, and improving schedule adherence.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university or college.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or a related field.
  • Have a strong understanding of Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Capacity Planning, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
  • Have experience utilizing ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise planning platforms.
  • Have advanced analytical and reporting skills with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or equivalent applications.
  • Have experience working within manufacturing, operations, and supply chain environments.
  • Demonstrate the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive execution in a fast-paced operational environment.

  • APICS/ASCM certifications such as CPIM or CSCP.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make sound business decisions.
  • Proven problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and driving operational excellence.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across manufacturing, supply chain, commercial, and operations teams.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on customer satisfaction and business performance.

This position is an on-site role supporting manufacturing and supply chain operations. The Master Scheduler will work closely with production, procurement, engineering, customer service, and leadership teams to ensure effective planning, scheduling, and execution of business requirements. Regular interaction with manufacturing operations and operational stakeholders is required to support business objectives and customer commitments.
