Platform Center of Excellence Mechanical Engineer

Role Responsibilities: * Independently develop and implement concepts for a range of significantly complex product issues and engineering solutions * Lead or execute engineering projects and spearhead research and development of new technologies * Identify and troubleshoot a wide range of significantly complex engineering problems * Specify or perform significantly complex engineering analysis * Communicate with internal and external customers regarding significantly complex engineering issues to address customers’ High Value Problems (HVP) for a range of products * Generate product specifications; define, coordinate, perform and document engineering tests * Specify the development, design, or modification of complex engineering layouts, schematics, drawings, or specifications * Specify and review engineering documentation and engineering processes Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree * 10-15 years of experience * Deep technical expertise in your field and deep knowledge of the Applied Materials product life cycle, as well as in-depth knowledge of other disciplines within your function * Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain difficult or sensitive information and to build consensus ## Qualifications ### Education: Bachelor's Degree ### Skills ### Certifications: ### Languages: ### Years of Experience: 4 - 7 Years ### Work Experience: ## Additional Information ### ### Shift: 10-Day 8-Hr (United States of America) ### ### Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time ### ### Relocation Eligible: Yes ### Referral Payment Plan: Employee Referral (Standard) Salary Range: $124,000.00 - $171,000.00 The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
