Application Engineering Intern (Year-Round)

Join our team as an Application Engineering Intern! In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in active safety and driver assistance technologies, including park assist, automated parking, collision avoidance, and blind spot detection. You will work closely with application engineers, system teams, and mechanical designers to assist with vehicle testing, component integration, and data analysis.

Seeking a current student or recent graduate to start as soon as possible and work on a year-round basis.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field OR Recent Graduate.

• Fundamental understanding of mechanical principles (static/dynamic forces) and basic vehicle dynamics.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and solid written/verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; basic exposure to programming or script writing is a plus.

• Previous project or coursework exposure to active safety, driver assistance systems (ADAS), or automotive development.

​ Work Location: This position is located in both our Auburn Hills, MI and Troy, MI locations. Candidates must be able to work from both offices as business needs require and be flexible with their work location.
