We are now accepting applications for the following positions:


Responsibilities

• Sanitation and cleaning set up
• Use of proper tools and utensils for prep and cooking
• Self-sufficient, good understanding of workflow, adaptable to new situations
• Assist the chef by preparing all menu items for the restaurant, bakery, and amenities.
• Knowledge of Bread making, Cake decorating, cookies, quick breads, and plating
desserts.
• Take daily inventory of all production items and records and tallies what has been
depleted and produced.
• Aids with ordering food items with the chef to ensure product is in-house.
• Ensure food is stored away properly when not in use.
• Has a full comprehension of the menu and is trained on the preparation of all ingredients.
• Maintain station cleanliness and organization, continually throughout the shift.
• Maintain labeling and proper stock rotation practices
• Working from prep list
• Multi-tasking and resourcefulness
• Acute understanding of kitchen verbiage and vast recipe knowledge
• Acute product knowledge and handling of ingredients
• Proper cooking techniques and cleanliness
• Tasting food while cooking, and before serving to guests. Understanding of what to
change to alter taste.

• Attention to detail and putting out the highest quality product
• Inspection of the station and making sure all items are of quality and not spoiled.
• Displays effort to learn new techniques and absorb information (taking notes etc.)
• Acute understanding of cooking techniques
• Multi-tasking
• Efficient and expedient in the cooking of dishes
• High execution of cooking and plating dishes
• Ability to train co-workers and less experienced cooks
• Cleans up work continually during shift
• Breakdowns are completely clean and organized before leaving shift.
• Deep cleaning of the kitchen and equipment.
• Station responsibility.
• Helps upkeep kitchen cleanliness standards by teaching new staff and holding.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Certificate or Diploma in related field
• Proven experience assisting in professional kitchen settings, including Bread making,
Cake decorating, cookies, and quick breads.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in safely operating kitchen equipment and appliances (e.g., ovens, slicers).
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP procedures, and sanitation protocols.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
• Capability to assist in unloading food supplies from delivery trucks.
• Physical ability to lilt and move boxes (up to 50 lbs) and store inventory efficiently.

Salary: USD$10.00 - USD$12.00 Per Hour + gratuities

Benefits: In accordance with Cayman Islands law

Location: Grand Cayman
