We are now accepting applications for the following position:


Responsibilities

  • Developing new business opportunities
  • Wine focused but also responsible for Beer, Spirits and Non Alcoholic sales into assigned accounts
  • Maintain constant communication with operations so that special promotions, wine by the glass listings are backed up with proper inventories
  • Quarterly Account audits to highlight opportunities and weaknesses
  • Complete weekly action report on your accounts to be returned into sales manager; including total sales and new business obtained
  • Provide trainings, tastings, wine Dinners, events and Activations for Clients
  • Assist in developing private client wine sales and fostering corporate relationships
  • Increase Points of Distribution on all brands
  • Achieve Quarterly Sales Targets, developing Cayman Distributor’s brands, growing relationships with key vendors and accounts, conduct promotions, organize events on a regular basis
  • Work with Sales Team to ensure that brand strategy is translated to marketplace activities that drive sales and profits.

Requirements

  • a minimum of five (5) years proven experience developing wine and spirits brands
  • WSET 2 level certification required (Wine & Spirit Education Training level 2)
  • Possess a strong marketing background with demonstrable experience managing large-scale promotional events from start to finish
  • An excellent understanding of Cayman Islands market as related to wine/spirits including customer trends both locally and globally
  • Excellent customer service relationships and communication skills
  • Comfortable with presenting tasting seminars and public speaking
  • Strong working knowledge of all major MS Office programs
  • Ability to work long and often unsociable hours without immediate supervision
  • Must be willing to work late shifts, evening, weekends and public holidays when needed; must have a valid driver’s license

Salary Rate: CI$60,000 - CI$80,000 per annum

Benefits: In accordance with Cayman Islands law

Location: Grand Cayman
