We are an AI-native company transforming PDFs, PowerPoints, JPGs and other unstructured or semi-structured documents and images into structured data that software can understand and act on. Our focus is on the hardest document understanding problems with complex layouts, tables, images, handwriting, charts, photographs and mixed modalities.

Founded by Andrew Ng, LandingAI has brought together some of the strongest AI Engineers and Machine Learning Engineers in the industry, with deep expertise in visual AI, agentic systems, foundation models, and production ML infrastructure. We build from the ground up where it matters, move fast with the latest AI coding tools and agentic developer workflows, and invest in the compute and technical environment needed to do exceptional work.

Our work is grounded in three core strengths:

Agentic systems built for production. We have been early builders of agentic AI systems and have applied that work in the real world through Agentic Document Extraction (ADE), our platform for parsing, understanding, and extracting information from complex documents with traceability, control, and production-grade reliability.

A data-centric mindset. We bring a rigorous, practical approach to model quality, edge cases, evaluation, and real customer data, because solving document understanding in production requires far more than strong benchmark performance.

A vision-first approach to foundation models. We build from the ground up where it matters, including specialized document models and agentic systems, because solving real document understanding problems requires more than stitching together generic components.

Since launching Agentic Document Extraction in early 2025, LandingAI has grown quickly by bringing a modern, AI-native approach to a legacy intelligent document processing market ready for disruption.

We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help generate pipeline and accelerate LandingAI's growth.

This role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and AI. You will be responsible for identifying high-potential accounts, engaging key stakeholders, generating qualified opportunities, and helping LandingAI expand its footprint within enterprise organizations.

The ideal candidate combines strong communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and a modern approach to outbound prospecting. You will leverage AI-powered tools, personalization strategies, and data-driven workflows to create meaningful conversations with prospective customers.

You'll work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, Product, and Leadership teams while helping define what modern AI-native prospecting looks like. We welcome candidates from both traditional sales backgrounds and adjacent customer-facing roles who are excited to build a career in enterprise technology sales.

  • Generate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting activities across strategic target accounts.
  • Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns using email, LinkedIn, phone, and modern AI-enabled prospecting tools.
  • Research target organizations to identify business challenges, buying signals, and key decision-makers.
  • Develop personalized messaging tailored to different industries, functions, and stakeholder personas.
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to support account-based sales strategies and expand account penetration.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities to ensure alignment with LandingAI's ideal customer profile and qualification criteria.
  • Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and account data within Salesforce and other sales systems.
  • Leverage modern AI workflows and prospecting tools to improve efficiency, personalization, and outbound effectiveness.
  • Serve as a voice of the market by sharing prospect feedback, competitive insights, and customer pain points with Product, Marketing, and Leadership teams.
  • Develop expertise in LandingAI's Agentic Document Extraction (ADE) platform and effectively communicate its value to prospective customers.
  • Be based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work full-time from our Mountain View office.
  • Experience in sales development, business development, customer-facing, operations, support, or other communication-intensive roles. We welcome candidates who have developed strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills in non-traditional sales environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience using CRM, customer support, operations, or sales engagement platforms such as Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, Zendesk, or similar tools, or the ability to quickly learn new technologies and workflows.
  • Experience researching accounts, managing multiple priorities, and driving consistent execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and process discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals, manage competing priorities, and work effectively in ambiguous environments.
  • Curiosity about AI, emerging technologies, and how they are transforming business workflows.
  • Strong coachability, learning agility, and a desire to build a long-term career in technology sales.
  • Previous experience as an SDR, BDR, or in outbound sales.
  • Experience in customer support, technical support, operations coordination, education, training, or other roles that require structured communication and problem-solving.
  • Experience selling or supporting enterprise SaaS, AI, data, automation, or technology organizations.
  • Familiarity with Clay or other AI-powered prospecting and workflow automation tools.
  • Understanding of GenAI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and agentic AI concepts.
  • Experience supporting account-based sales motions.
  • Exposure to industries such as Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), or Enterprise Operations.
  • Previous startup experience.
