QA Engineer

We're looking for a detail-oriented, quality-minded engineer to join our team and help us ship great software with confidence. 

If you have 3–5 years of QA experience and take pride in both the craft of automation and the quality of the product, this role is for you. The position can be based in Khon Kaen, Thailand

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll be involved across the full quality lifecycle – from hands-on testing to building and maintaining automation frameworks – working closely with developers and product teams every step of the way. You'll also help us make smart use of AI-assisted testing.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain automated test suites using Java, Cucumber, Selenide, and RestAssured.
• Integrate and manage tests in our GitLab CI pipelines for fast, reliable feedback.
• Identify, document, and track defects in Jira.
• Use AI tools like Claude or GitHub Copilot to support test generation and code review.
  
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and tooling in an Agile (Scrum) environment.
• Manage test plans and coverage in TestRail.
• Run and triage regression, smoke, functional, and exploratory tests across environments.
• Define test strategies and acceptance criteria together with developers and product managers.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU

• 3–5 years of hands-on QA experience with a strong automation focus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field – or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working in an agile and fast-paced environment.
• Strong skills in Java, Selenide/Selenium, Cucumber, and RestAssured, as well as experience with SQL.
• Familiar with using AI coding assistants and able to critically evaluate their output.
• Comfortable with GitLab CI, Git, Jira, and TestRail.
• Good grasp of test design techniques: functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and performance.
• Strong English communication skills – both written and verbal.
• A collaborative team player who communicates clearly, takes initiative, and cares about doing things right.
• Background in SaaS or cloud-based products is a plus. ISTQB certification is a nice-to-have.
