Principal Electrical Engineer

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and taking products from concept to reality? We're seeking a hands-on, highly motivated engineer to join our agile and collaborative engineering team.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to own cutting-edge hardware development projects from initial concept through production release. You'll work closely with a small team of talented engineers where your contributions are visible, valued, and directly impact the success of our products.

• Lead electrical design projects through the entire product development lifecycle, from concept and architecture to production deployment.
• Design and develop high-performance PWM amplifiers and efficient power conversion solutions.
• Create and optimize power supplies and converter topologies for demanding applications.
• Develop embedded software and firmware for microprocessors and FPGAs.
• Perform circuit simulation, analysis, and validation using LTSpice and related tools.
• Build, test, debug, and refine prototypes in a hands-on laboratory environment.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to solve technical challenges and deliver innovative products.
• Drive design excellence by ensuring manufacturability, reliability, and performance throughout the development process.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE); Master's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of hands-on electrical design experience with PCB-level product development.
• Strong expertise in:
• Power electronics
• Converter topologies
• PWM amplifier design
• Power supply design
• Control theory
• Magnetics design
• Experience throughout the complete PCB design process, including:
• Requirements definition
• Schematic capture
• PCB layout oversight
• DFM (Design for Manufacturability)
• DFT (Design for Testability)
• Embedded programming experience with microprocessors and FPGAs.
• Proficiency with circuit simulation tools such as LTSpice.

You are comfortable working in a hands-on development environment and have experience using:

• Oscilloscopes
• Function generators
• Digital multimeters
• Power analyzers
• Other standard electrical test equipment
