About the Job:

We are looking for a reliable Line Cook who takes pride in their work and a job well done. A sense of energy, passion, integrity, honesty, great attendance, and personal responsibility.

  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and day and night shifts.
  • Work an average of 30 to 35 hours per week
  • Prepare food items by cutting, chopping, mixing.
  • Cook food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods
  • Able to expedite food orders/tickets in timely manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
  • Clean and sanitize cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
  • Stock food items and other necessary supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
  • Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing
  • Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods
  • Must be able to expedite tickets in timely manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
  • Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
  • 1-3 years cooking experience in a restaurant, hotel, or resort.
  • Safe serve certified or able to obtain.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience working as a line cook in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Good understanding of ingredients, recipes, kitchen safety and hygiene.
  • Passionate about culinary arts and creative cooking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiar with general kitchen equipment and appliances.
  • Able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
  • Able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically able to stand and move around for long periods of time.
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds.

 

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Rate Range | $14 - $16 | Commensurate with Experience
