Bartender PT- Hotel Ulysses

• →Welcomes each guest personally using enthusiastic words, tone, and body language
• →Ensures guests feel appreciated through your actions
• →Works as a team with all personnel in order to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service
• →Works with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked to the Brand standards
• →Possesses extensive knowledge of all menus, including but not limited to full ingredient lists and preparations
• →Provides warm and empathetic service, tailored to each guest
• →Intakes guest’s food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, clearly denoting any modifications, food allergies, or dietary restrictions
• →Inputs orders into computer immediately, collects payment from guests and makes change as needed
• →Performs side work as needed to ensure operation is set-up for a smooth service
• →Assists in the maintenance of tables throughout the outlet
• →Mixes, garnishes, and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons of the bar and dining room, following standard recipes
• →Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display
• →Washes and sterilizes stemware throughout the operation and when closing the outlet
• →Provides anticipatory service by “reading the room” and following the half-full rule when offering another drink
• →Remains alert to guest signals (raising a hand, looking directly at you, etc.), and acknowledges guests so they know you will be right with them
• →Counts drinks guests are served and tracks open bar tabs
• →Responsibly serves alcohol and remains aware of guests’ state of intoxication
• →Other duties as assigned

• Basic mathematical skills and an ability to handle money and give correct change
• Advanced knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, and familiarity with standard drink recipes
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
• Has exceptional communication skills - there is no such thing as over-communicating
• Works well in a team environment and naturally exudes professionalism
• Can work well under stress or in high-pressure situations
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds on occasion. Must be able to stand, walk, and work on feet for extended periods of time. Requires grasping, writing, typing / keying, extended periods of standing, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, and visual acuity.

COMPENSATION DETAILS:

• Compensation: $12.50 plus tips
