Line Cook-Hotel Ulysses

• →Follow the recipe guidebook and plating requirements as outlined by management and ownership.
• →Manage and minimize food waste.
• →Follow all food handling SOP’s established at the restaurant including but not limited to; HACCP plans, HACCP logs, sanitation and dishwashing, product rotation, waste disposal and food borne illness reporting.
• →Make periodic and regular inspections of units to observe quality of food; cleanliness and sanitation of production and service areas and equipment. Adhere to all local, state, and federal health department codes.
• →Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
• →Maintain our facilities to include maintaining standards for cleanliness of the restaurant and cafe as well as organization and storage.
• →Communicate any facility issues to the appropriate department.
• →Other duties as assigned

• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Has exceptional communication skills - there is no such thing as overcommunicating
• Works well in a team environment and naturally exudes professionalism
• Is confident in utilizing and learning new technologies
• Can work well under stress or in high-pressure situations
• Must be able to stand, walk, and work on the feet for extended periods of time. Requires grasping, writing, typing,/keying, extended periods of standing, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, and visual acuity
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50lbs on occasion
• Spanish- Preferred but required
