The Solution Engineering Intern will support presales, proposal development, customer coordination, and technical solution activities for Industrial IoT (IIoT) and automation projects. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, assisting with customer engagements and site visits, and gaining hands-on experience in delivering industrial technology solutions.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Preparing and maintaining standard proposals based on approved templates and solution offerings.
- →Assisting in managing client handovers, change requests and day-to-day customer communications.
- →Coordinating with internal departments to gather technical documents, commercial information, compliance documents, and responses required during proposal and presales activities.
- →Supporting interdepartmental coordination, including Finance, Projects, Procurement, and other teams for activities such as invoices, documentation, and customer follow-ups.
- →Accompanying during technical evaluations, site surveys, machine connectivity assessments, and solution discussions with customers.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering with exposure to IoT/IIoT or Industrial Automation.
- Fresh graduates may also be considered, provided their Final Year Project is related to IIoT, Industrial Automation, or Smart Manufacturing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are mandatory, as the role requires continuous interaction with customers and multiple internal departments.
- Must be willing to travel frequently for customer meetings, site surveys, and technical evaluations, as this is not an office based role.
- Candidates with prior plant/site experience will be preferred, as familiarity with industrial operations, field activities, and customer interactions is essential for this role.
