Together with our partner Aspire Lounge Vilnius, we are building a strong kitchen team to support a premium airport lounge experience for international travelers.
We are looking for a Kitchen Cook to support daily food preparation and buffet service in the lounge, ensuring high food quality, hygiene standards, and smooth cooperation with the front‑of‑house team in a regulated airport environment.
About the Role
~1 min readAs a Kitchen Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and replenishing food for buffet‑style service, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, and supporting an open‑kitchen environment where interaction with guests may be required. This role plays an important part in delivering a consistent, high‑quality lounge experience.
- Preparing food for buffet‑style service according to established menus and procedures
- Ensuring food quality, presentation, and consistency throughout the service period
- Replenishing buffet items and monitoring food availability during shifts
- Supporting the open‑kitchen service model and answering basic guest questions about food items when required
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in kitchen and food preparation areas
- Following food safety, hygiene, and HACCP requirements at all times
- Using kitchen equipment safely and correctly, following all procedures
- Coordinating with the Kitchen Lead / Supervisor and Lounge Supervisors to ensure smooth service flow
- Reporting any food safety, hygiene, or equipment issues immediately
- Supporting stock handling and basic inventory tasks as assigned
- Previous experience working as a cook or in a professional kitchen environment
- Experience with buffet‑style or high‑volume food service (preferred)
- Good English skills, required to communicate with guests in an open‑kitchen environment and coordinate with the team
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and safe food‑handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and cleanliness
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
~1 min read- H10 food‑safety certificate required; candidates without it will obtain the certificate during the recruitment process
- Aviation security background check - required to obtain airport access. If you don’t already have clearance, you will complete this during the recruitment process.
