Lead Food Runner

Baltimore Country Club is looking to hire a Lead Food Runner to provide memorable experience for our Members and Guests at both Five Farms and Roland Park locations!

Baltimore Country Club was founded in 1898 and it was a success from the start, with 600 members enjoying its 150-acre facility less than five miles from downtown Baltimore. Just one year after opening, the Club gained immediate recognition in the golf world by hosting the fifth United States Open Championship. Today the Club is over 3,400 members strong with two campuses. It is widely recognized as one of the top 50 country clubs in the nation and top 100 in the world. We are all about the simple truth and doing what is right not what is easy.

As the quarterback of the kitchen, the Lead Food Runner keeps service running smoothly by coordinating between the Culinary and Food Runner teams. From ensuring every dish is prepared and plated correctly to making sure orders reach the tables on time, this role is all about communication, teamwork, and attention to detail. You'll be at the center of the action, keeping everyone organized and service moving in a fast-paced environment.

• Food Runner, Server or Expeditor experience preferred, country club experience is a plus.
• Professional appearance and attitude with a willingness to learn is an absolute must.
• Must be available to work: days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of food is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills.
• Minimum hiring age is 16 years old.
• Knowledge of food, beer, wine and spirits is a plus
• Must have year round, flexible availability
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in a hot environment
• Lift, carry and place overhead storage items up to 20 lbs.
