Beyond powers the business of short-term rentals with a best-in-class Revenue Management System used by thousands of property managers and owners around the world. We’re profitable, growing fast, and building with the latest technologies—including AI—to help our customers unlock more revenue with less effort. If you are interested in joining our Business Development Representative team in the future, you’ve come to the right place. We don’t currently have any BDR openings, but we are always looking to build our talent pool for future opportunities! In the event we open a BDR position, this role would be a hybrid position based in Chicago, IL with 2-3 days per week in the office. 

  • Sourcing, reaching out to, and qualifying leads to convey Beyond’s value proposition
  • Converting qualified leads into scheduled product demos for our Account Executive team
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to share and learn from best practices 
  • Quota attainment based on qualified leads & activity
  • Highly collaborative: a cross functional team who act as partners, driving success for local and global stakeholders
  • Agile: they are able to prioritize and execute in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Motivated: with a strong desire to win. This team doesn’t believe in settling, and finds motivation even in temporary setbacks

Requirements

  • A demonstrated ability to understand and apply effective outbound prospecting strategies and techniques
  • Confidence in picking up the phone and smoothly conversing with prospects
  • Demonstrated history of resilience, curiosity, optimism, and a solutions-oriented mentality
  • A track record of overachieving against defined metrics
  • A data-oriented approach with an aptitude for large data sets and numbers
  • Bonus Points for experience with Salesforce and Sales Automation/Engagement platform and/or familiarity with Property Management Systems and/or the vacation rental market
